<The Iron Circle>

Guild Name: <The Iron Circle>
Guild Leader: Naggashil
Guild Primary Location(s): Lower Eastern Kingdoms (Searing Gorge, Burning Steppes, Elwynn Forest, Lakeshire, Westfall, Stranglethorn Vale, Booty Bay)
Military Composition: Characteristics of The Iron Circle military include armour forged with all manner of wicked barbs, hooks and blades, and their uniforms tend to be dark sombre colours such as purple, indigo or black. Their swords and spearheads tend to be hooked and serrated for catching enemy blades and inflicting severe injuries.
Government: The society of The Iron Circle is a hierarchical one, with Naggashil, at the top. It has been argued, however, that The Iron Circle are in truth a Machiavellian society, with one man at the top and several powerful underlings in competition with each other, all vying for power but simultaneously preventing others from getting it. Naggashil allows this to continue because it keeps all sects strong by culling the weak, but also keeps them under his complete control. A fringe benefit of these positions is that their lives belong to Naggashil; only he may order their execution and he will punish those who killed his lieutenants.
Purpose of the Guild: The guild is planned to bring a combination of conflict, corruption, chaos, drama, disorder, mercenary roleplay and tension to the many factions and guilds that inhabit the lower Eastern Kingdoms. Corrupt nobles inside Stormwind, slave trading at the goblin ports, tipping off The Defias of plans from Stormwind and much more.
Concept of the Guild: The guilds banner is a picture of a series of iron circles(or rings) connected together; thus the name The Iron Circle. Each circle symbolizes a sub-group of the guild with its own unique characteristics. To the Azeroth, The Iron Circle are known as a free company, hired blades or even mercenaries. Behind all this, The Iron Circle seeks fortune, fame, knowledge and power. To do this, the guild will use a lot of cunning, political sway, dirty tactics and cheap war-fare to get what they want.

Little is known about the origins of The Iron Circle. What is known, is that during The Troll Wars this group was formed. During these times, the larger part of regular armies were common militia, whose training and equipment was often lacking. Most of the standing regiments tend to be elite units, and therefore many times simply too few in numbers. Therefore most leaders, facing an arduous campaign, will employ free companies of mercenaries. The first to come into employment was The Iron Circle.

Naggashil was relegated to the rank of Ambassador of the armies he was hired under. This suited him well, as he was an outstanding politician. During his time in the army he wandered the Northern Eastern Kingdoms, and with his mother's guidance, started experimenting with Dark Magic. After a few years Naggashil became discontented. In his mind the Elves must be a warlike people to face the ever-growing menace from the Amani Trolls.

Naggashil travelled far and wide in search of greater power and glory, establishing colonies across the Eastern Kingdoms, fighting great battles against the Dark Horde, as well as establishing friendship and trade links between the Dwarves, Gnomes and Humans. After many centuries away from home, Naggashil eventually returned to Silvermoon, only to find his homeland at war with the Scourge.

Now seeks to rebuild The Iron Circle.

In theory if Dark Iron can use the light, or a different version of it but the same concept, shouldn't they be able to be Paladins? Just a thought. Easily removed if not.

In theory if Night Elves can be priests but arn't devoted to the light, then by rights Dark Irons could have the same. Same would apply for their Priests and Paladins. They arn't that class, but they use that class to replicate "Flame Guard" "Sorcerer" etc.

Crimson Flame Conclave

Posted Image
Though most contemporary human and high elven mages bow to the sovereignty of Dalaran and the Kirin Tor, there are a great many who choose to delve into the secrets of magic by themselves. Considered to be non-sanctioned renegades by the Kirin Tor, these rogue mages strive to expand their knowledge of magic and spellcraft beyond the constraints of what most other wizards believe to be safe or morally acceptable.

Posted Image
Dalaran existed out of three groups, the Kirin Tor, the Mages’ Union and the Sorcerers’ League. Sorcerer’s, mostly frowned upon by wizards, formed their own society, the Sorcerers’ League. When the Kirin Tor was established from the high ranks, they formed the figure head of Dalaran, overwhelming the other parties as they gained control over the city. Several sorcerer’s felt suppressed, and swore an oath to each other that they were never to be hold back from continuing their magic studies. This small group was creating within the society of a society, the Crimson Flame Conclave out of the Sorcerers’ League, out of Dalaran.

With Dalaran gone, wrecked by the Third War, most of the inhabitants were perished. However, some did survive, and they cast that dome around the ruins of Dalaran. Others survived as well, not being in the city of Dalaran at the attack, either influencing other cities or merely left the city for research. Whatever the reason, as there were survivors of Dalaran, there were survivors of this conclave.

As not every member knows another, they created a logo, and each member carries this logo somewhere, may it be tattooed, a necklace or even a string of cloth woven in this shape. For these mages/sorcerers to regroup and continue on their workings, they had to make themselves known, that others of this order might find them.

Posted Image
Caelith Sunsworn, a former apprentice of one of the Inner Circle in the conclave was a member himself. As he left the city of Dalaran, he was released of his ‘duty’ and was assigned an apprentice himself, earning the rank of full member. Assuming the Inner Circle died out, or at least left them, Caelith is determined to construct a new stronghold for this Conclave, from where they can continue, unhindered, their studies.
Now under the new alias of Naggashil, he constructed The Iron Circle to give his studies 'safety' and has begun planning for rebuilding a haven for the Sorcerers'.

-Constructing a Wizards’ Tower with their sign, thus creating a new quarter for the Conclave, perhaps even the whole of Sorcerers' League.
-Reigning supreme over the Kirin Tor.
-Expanding magical studies.

Posted Image
Requires: 5 magical orientated classes. (Mage, Warlock, Priest, Shaman)

- Magic-interested people only, either by using magic themselves, or an apprentice to the magic arts.
- At least on Neutral terms with the The Iron Circle, since the base is located on their lands.

Warptech Workshop

Posted Image
Technological Savants: Warptech Workshop specializes in a bizarre blend of sorcery and science which has produced the insidiously deadly weaponry used by the other Iron Circle members. To Warptech, sorcery is merely another field of technology, and their experiments and inventions blend the arcane with the scientific. Sometimes they base their inventions on the captured technology of others, innovating upon their designs to create new and bizarre versions.

- Constructing an Engineering Industry to help further their research on fusing magic with technology.
- Expanding in technology.
- Produce new weapons to assist their war efforts.

Posted Image
Requires: 5 engineering orientated characters (Architect, Blacksmith)

Great Sea Traders Company has two sections. The Traders Union is what is known to the world. The Corsairs is all the piracy that happens within the company.

The Traders Union: This group focuses on the trade, smuggling and drug trafficking side of the guild.

The Corsairs: Expert corsairs and pirates they are the scourge of the seas responsible for countless raids.

During Naggashil's travels he encountered the Naval Fleet of Kul'Tiras. He met some savory allies there, and even persuaded a few to join his cause.

- Establish a large trading company that spans the entire sea.
- Construct a Port Town.
- Construct a Navy.
- Become the only sea traders in the world of Azeroth.
- Recruit all known pirates under the services of Great Sea Traders Company.

OR!

Inspiring a rebellion amongst the mistreated commoner Dark Iron clans which would create a fissure in the Emperor's army. ~ Quoted from Traven. A concept that will be used for this guild either way.
