The Nature of Immortality
Immortals in Warcraft are generally resistant to sickness and injury, but immortality does not confer invulnerability. Immortal beings can still be wounded and even killed.
Building your character
When you build your character, it is suggested you begin your character as a young character, so that as you grow old, your character becomes stronger. As opposed to starting as an older character, and only progressing ten years and then dying. This guild is suppose to be a slow progressive guild, so please take things slow. Now back on topic. You start your character out as just a beginner in this world, much like you would on retail, only with a bit more perks. You know the basics of fighting, you know how to throw a fist, you know only basic knowledge of the world, and you only know basic skills. Do not try and come to me role playing the grand tinker engineer attempting to reforge the Ashbringer through the use of magical enchanted mage skills. I swear to god, I will bury you six feet deep in lava. Now then. As you role play, you will progress through the role play. You gain knowledge of the world around you, you gain power as you train, please role play this accordingly. Also, when you begin with your character, please wear very very very basic gear. You've just begun your journey. There is no way you're starting out in Tier 5. This is your first and only warning.
Professions
When your character decides it's time to learn something about cooking, alchemy or something else, then you will take up a profession slot. These rules will follow that of retail where you are allowed as many secondary skills as you want, but only two main s. For the sake of role play and to force people to communicate with each other and use each others skills, you will only be allowed to get one main profession. This will progress much like retail. You start at 1/75 and progress through that. Yes, it's slow. But this is how this guilds role play is.
Actual Professions
Blacksmiths, Mining, Herbalism, Alchemy, Enchanting, Tailoring, Leather working, Skinning, Engineering, Jewel crafting, Inscription
Custom Professions
Map making, Fletcher, Carpenter, Masonry, Farming, Librarian/Historian, Architect, Scholar, Mount Trainer/Breeder, Archaeologist, More To Come.
Death
Death is common, so do not whine and bitch to an officer, master and especially to the guild master. If your character happens to die, then you will remake another character and role play either a descendant of that character, or another character. All your hard work will not go to waste, so think of it like this. 25% of your characters original power, will be passed down onto this character when they're created. So if you're a lord, when you die, and remake your character, you will start out as an experienced soldier at the age of 25 perhaps.
If your character dies, their gear, items, gold everything is up for grabs. So if you're wielding the magical awesome sword of doom and an orc kills you. That orc can pick it up and use it. They might not know how to unlock it's special powers, but it's theirs till someone takes it from him or he gives it to someone.
**NOTE** If you use the dead character outside of the guild, there is nothing wrong with that. Your character is just dead within this guilds story. No one elses.
